Bane rose from under the splintered shards to his feet. This was one time he was thankful for the metallic skin he possessed. He looked over the shattered remains of the interrogation centre and wondered what happened. Where did Ryan get the bomb to cause such destruction, he was well searched previously? If it were a bomb, Ryan would have been blown apart and his remanence would be sprawled across the room, but there were none. The only possible conclusion was a new form of weapon that Ryan kept secret from Bane and wisely at that. Such a destructive device would be extremely useful. Bane's concentration was broken as several soldiers stormed the room.

"What happened General, is Williams dead?" Asked the Captain.

"No, he has escaped. Send every available man after him. I want him dead or alive and inform the heads of staff to meet me in my throne room." A distant explosion echoed through the complex. "That means NOW Captain!"
